A Message From Sol Acting Academy Owner, Vivian Nesbitt:
Thank you for another AMAZING year! So many students are reaching new heights and realizing their dreams in this crazy business. It is a real thrill to see you on stage and screen. All of us here at Sol appreciate you and your commitment!
After a lot of heart searching and deliberation, I have decided to make some changes that will enable to me to spend more time with my family (on both coasts) and dig deeper into my own career as an actor. For the past six years, with the help of amazing staff and teachers here, I’ve juggled my roles in life. 2017 offered up so many opportunities and challenges for me to grow as a business owner, daughter, sister, step-mom and friend as well as an actress. I realized that in order for Sol to reach its potential and continue to serve the community, it needed a new owner.
We are in the process of transitioning the Sol Acting Academy brand and legacy over to the perfect person to take it to the next level. On Friday, December 8th, 2017 Chris Ranney will take the helm bringing new leadership and energy to the Sol Family!
There aren’t enough words to express what Sol Acting Academy means to me. Nor are words like Privilege, Honor and Gift adequate to express the magnitude of appreciation and gratitude I have for all of you. Thanks to every student, I honed my craft as a teacher. Thanks to every teacher and staff member, I learned to be a better version of myself. The walls are drenched in creative discovery and breakthroughs that inspire the next round of students, thanks to all of you. Together we created a sweet little Studio, unlike any other, out of which, dreams are realized. Because of you.
Will I miss you? Everyday. Thank you for your trust, and your support for the past six years. I look forward to seeing great things from each and every person who calls Sol Acting Academy home in 2018. I look forward to coming back to visit as a guest and a friend.
Til our paths meet on set or in studio, continue to reach for the stars, and know that you are loved beyond measure.
I believe in you.
