In its first month in operation the New Mexico Spotlight Foundation has awarded the following:

NMSF Rising Stars Award, nine weeks professional acting training with Stephen Burhoe, to Nathan Livingston, Cyrus Dodson-Sands, Josie Smith.

The McMaster Audition 101 first ever kids course goes to sisters Emma & Elizabeth Swenson.

Victoria Gonzalez received Albuquerque Actors Studio eight week Acting & Auditioning Course with Lora Cunningham.

The first ever NMSF Spirit Award goes to Ethen Glass – 1 year of talent training and services
valued at approx. $3K.

This round of awards are valued at over $5k.

3.) The feature film The Wave, starring Justin Long and Donald Faison, is looking for party goers. November 9 in Albuquerque for a DAY SHOOT. Rate –$8.80/Hr–.

4.) Edit House Productions, LLC, announces an OPEN CASTING CALL for the following:
1 Male/ 1 Female between the appearing age of 20 – 27
1 Male and 1 Female between the appearing age of 40 – 45
1 Male and 1 Female between the appearing age of 60 – 65
Each M/F will be paired as a couple acting out an engagement scene. Some acting experience is requested, but not required.

A criminal background check will be conducted. The selected applicant will appear as a non-speaking role in upcoming broadcast and online commercials.For time and travel, Edit House Productions, LLC will offer a full-buyout agreement and compensate each individual $75.Estimated production will take place at the end of October or beginning of November.

5.) Non-paid music video casting Nov. 3, 4 and 7
Waiters, server, cops, dinner scene, soup kitchen scene, business woman, mother, daughter, homeless person, politician, and bad guy. Full details below.

6.) Feature film Dreamland is looking for an African American boy between 11 and 13 to work on Monday, October 30 as featured background. Send a photo with height, weight, parent’s name and phone number to New Mexico residents only.

7.) “Willenberger” will start filming next month in Roy New Mexico.
